Lucky Mathebula is the founder and Executive Trustee of The Th!nc Foundation, a Tshwane-based public policy think tank focused on socio-economic transformation. The Foundation operates as an evidence-based and transdisciplinary platform working across:

Lucky Mathebula Biography
Fortunate Mashebu Mathebula, widely known as Lucky, was born in Pretoria in 1965 and completed his matric at Tsako-Thabo High School in 1983. He earned a Secondary Teachers Diploma from Transvaal College of Education in 1986, followed by a BA degree in 1992 and a BA Honours degree in Public Administration in 1993, graduating cum laude from Vista University. In 1991, he received the Vista University Vice-Chancellor’s national award for being the top Public Administration student. He later completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Pretoria in 1998 and obtained a Harvard Senior Executive Programme certificate in 2000. He has presented numerous papers and contributed as a co-author to several publications, including one he edited. He has also served as editor of the South African Journal of Public Administration, the PAIR Newsletter, and the SAAPAM Newsletter. Guided by Psalm 23, his journey continues.
